Abstract

Using Christopher Boone as the main character, this paper examines the triads connected to Asperger's Syndrome in Mark Haddon's book The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. The analysis delves into the character's struggles and experiences in socialization, communication, and imagination, offering valuable perspectives on the novel's complex depiction of Asperger's syndrome. The research attempts to shed light on how the novel both reflects and contradicts popular conceptions of neurodiversity by analyzing significant scenes and character interactions.
