Abstract
Technology has become the driving force in every industry. Education
industry is not an exception. Technology-Enabled Learning (TEL) depicts the
use of technology, platforms, systems and digital content to extend and enhance
student-centred learning. Usage of technology in the teaching learning process
has been in practice for the past few decades. The need of online learning tools
was understood to a larger extent in the pandemic and post pandemic situation.
The new National Educational Policy, 2020 of India has emphasized greatly on
concepts like technology in learning, blended learning and applied learning.
Information and communication technology (ICT) tools are a most common way
of applying technology in education. Gen-x and Gen-z Students are exposed to
modern technical gadgets and use various sorts of ICT tools for learning even in
inside and outside classrooms. Usage of ICT tools enhances listening skills,
motivates and creates interactive audiences. This paper is an effort to disclose
the effectiveness of ICT tools in the teaching learning environment
